Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although there are fewer yellow undertones and it fails to convey the textured impasto apparent in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There is evidence of light wear with some associated small losses in places to the extreme outer edges of the frame. There are some media accretions to the upper and lower right corners, which are visible in the catalogue illustration and a few further tiny specks of accretion elsewhere. Inspection under ultraviolet reveals a few areas that fluoresce darker, but these do not appear to be retouching.
