Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although it fails to fully convey the highly impastoed surface of the work.
Condition:
Unexamined out of its frame, this work is in very good condition. Extremely close inspection reveals a few hairline and unobtrusive cracks to the thick beige impasto towards the upper centre of the composition and a minute loss to one of the impasto peaks towards the lower centre of the composition. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
