Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is deeper and richer and the whites tend more towards a true white in the original.
Condition:
Unexamined out of its frame, this work is in very good condition. Close inspection reveals a few hairline cracks and small specks of surface loss isolated to the thicker areas of impasto. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
