- bronze with dark patina
- 19 by 31 by 29cm.; 7 1/2 by 12 1/4 by 11 3/8 in.
- Le Crapaud was conceived in 1940. This cast is number 6/8 from a tirage original of 12 proofs, numbered 1/8 to 8/8, HC1, HC2, HC3 and EA.

The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate.

This work is in very good condition. Close inspection reveals some light burnishing and minor oxidisation to the tips of the protruding elements in places, as well as some light and superficial dust in the recesses. Further close inspection reveals some thin and shallow surface scratches isolated towards the base.
