Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly brighter and tends more towards cream in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There is some thin and even craquelure throughout. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals some areas of fluorescence in places, however these don't appear to be retouching.

Catalogue Note
"Every day I am more amazed about being here and rolling through space on a sphere [...] Everything amazes me. I paint my amazement, which at the same time is delight, fear and laughter. I do not want to exclude anything from this amazement. I want to paint pictures with many things, with all the contradictions..."
