The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is slightly warmer in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There are some short hairline drying cracks isolated to the black pigment. Very close inspection reveals evidence of light handling marks to the lower corner tips of both canvases. Visible only when inspected in raking light are a few unobtrusive rub marks to the black pigment. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
