Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration fail to convey the neon tones visible in the original, and the orange colour in the catalogue is actually a deeper aubergine in the original. Condition: This work is in good condition. There is light canvas buckling towards the left side of the composition. Very close inspection reveals a faint media accretion towards the left edge; a pinprick-sized speck of loss towards the centre of the lower left quadrant, a small number of extremely short and unobtrusive isolated hairline cracks and a few tiny and superficial fly spots scattered in places. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
