Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is brighter and the light blue tends more towards turquoise in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. The left edge is slightly deckled. The sheet is attached verso to the mount in several places, and undulates slightly. Very close inspection reveals a small number of extremely thin cracks isolated in places, notably one approximately 15cm. from the centre of the upper edge, which has an associated spot of paint loss. Further close inspection reveals a tear to the centre of the upper edge.
