“I just happened to have a chair around that had a certain kind of back. And once I’d got the legs actually stuffed, I wanted to see how they looked, so I just clipped them on the back of this chair and that was it. It was brilliant. It doesn’t happen very often that you really get that ‘Eureka!’ feeling, and you want to grab a beer or suddenly laugh, and smoke fags really fast, and phone people up and say ‘You’ve got to get over here!’”
