Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality tends more towards a true white in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Extremely close inspection reveals a few minute and unobtrusive surface scratches in a few isolated places along the edges all of which are likely to be original to the work's execution. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.

Catalogue Note

This work was executed at the Galerie Françoise Lambert in Milan.

"There is never a question of what to paint, but only how to paint. But only how to paint. The how of painting has always been the image - the end result."
