The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the cerulean tones tend more towards a deep green in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. Close inspection reveals some minor and unobtrusive drying cracks to the thinner dark blue pigment towards the left edge. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals a minor speck of restoration towards the lower right corner, approximately 40 cm. from the right edge and 30cm. from the lower edge. Further examination under ultraviolet light reveals two small specks that fluoresce darker towards the right edge.
