The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. Upon extremely close inspection, there are a few very faint, stable and unobtrusive drying cracks to some of the thinner areas of paint in a few isolated places in the chequered pattern. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
