Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is deeper and richer in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is evidence of wear to the lower right corner tip and in places along the extreme right edge. There is a small, shallow unobtrusive impact mark to the centre-left edge of the first circular motif, which fluoresces darker when examined under ultraviolet light. Close inspection reveals a few faint media accretions and light, short rubs in a few isolated places.
"In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above. Since we are not professional conservators or restorers, we urge you to consult with a restorer or conservator of your choice who will be better able to provide a detailed, professional report. Catalogue Note

“I wanted to return to the idea that each painting would be total, each painting would be
complete… as if each painting were the last painting you were going to do.”
