Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Visible in raking light are a small number of faint and superficial handling marks. Some characteristic surface patina and light oxidisation have appeared over time, which is inherent to the medium's natural ageing process. Upon extremely close inspection, some light dust fibres have accumulated in the recesses. Further extremely close inspection reveals a small number of thin, short and shallow surface scratches in a few isolated places. All other surface irregularities are inherent the casting process.
