Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the yellow in the centre of the composition is brighter in the original.
Condition:
This work is in good condition. There is evidence of wear along the horizontal edges with associated hairline cracks, shallow creases and a few minute specks of loss. There are also a few further additional creases to the canvas elsewhere. There are two very small piercings to the canvas in the top left corner. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals two minute spots which fluoresce darker on the left edge towards the lower corner.
