Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly ligter and more vibrant in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is evidence of wear to the extreme outer edges. Very close inspection reveals a few extremely fine, short and unobtrusive hairline cracks in a few isolated places to the white pigment. The canvas has been relined and is stable. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
