Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly more saturated. The catalogue illustration also fails to fully convey the neon tonality in the greens and yellows towards the right hand side of the composition.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. The sheet is attached verso to the backing board in several places. The sheet undulates slightly. Extremely close inspection reveals a small number of very thin and unobtrusive drying cracks to the yellow, red and orange pigments in places, with an associated tiny speck of surface loss to the centre of the upper left quadrant.
