Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate. Condition: This work is in good condition. There is evidence of wear to the extreme outer edges, with a small number of associated specks of paint loss along the extreme lower edge, visible in the catalogue illustration. Extremely close inspection reveals a few very short and unobtrusive hairline cracks in a few isolated places in the white pigment, towards the outer edges. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals three spots of retouching: one to the lower left corner and two to the upper two corners.
