Condition

An impressive table, that betrays signs of its use in an institution. The cleated ends of the plank top probably replaced. The piece has possibly been reduced by 6 inches at some point in its long history. One short frieze replaced. Old vandalism in the form of scratched marks and painted initials. Evidence of worm and fragmenting at joints from where this extraordinary table has been dismantled historically.
