Description
- porcelain and wood
of pear shape, brightly enamelled around the exterior with one hundred deer amidst a rocky landscape, set at the shoulder with a pair of iron-red dragon handles, the base with apocryphal Qianlong mark, wood stand
Condition
The vase is in general good condition with the exception of a shallow rim chip (approx. 2x1cm) to the exterior. There are other minor chips such as that on one of the handles (largest 1.5x0.1cm). Overall glaze firing imperfections include kiln grits, blisters, iron spots, numerous burst glaze bubbles or pinholes. The base fired to a yellow patch below the apocryphal mark. Minor enamel wear.
