Description

  • beech, painted wood
each with a rectangular padded back above padded downscrolled arms and bowed loose cushion seat on stop-fluted turned tapering legs, redecorated

Condition

Joints sound and sturdy. Construction cracks at joints commensurate with age and normal usage. The decoration is worn on the arms and the paint is flaked off in places as visible from the catalogue photograph. There is an old minor repair to the top-rail of one and top of the left arm of the same one, which would benefit from some further attention. Also on the other one there is a couple of cracks on the inward curved fluting supports on the right arm and there are a couple of construction cracks on the top-rail where they join the side-rails which can easily be filled or left. In otherwise good condition.
