Measurements - from the orientation of the harp motifs being in the centre of the upper and lower horizontal edges - 486cm wide across the top, 484cm. across the bottom, 469cm long left side, 460cm long right side. This carpet has a linen lining. There are scattered small reweaves and repairs. Please note that this is a flatweave carpet and not knotted pile, and would therefore be most suitable for a light footfall area, and not for an entrance hall or dining room. Specialist Comment: It is a particularly evocative Empire design of the early 19th century, with an attractive green ground.
