the shaped punchwork decorated cresting inset with a later needlework roundel above a frame covered with later floral petit and gros-point needlework worked in wool with metal-thread highlights
Condition
Overall in good condition.The needlework is generally discoloured, the wools used being shades of terracotta and brown, with highlights of colour. The condition of the needlework generally is faded, and overall is stable, with the edges of the roundel fragment being loose in areas.
