Description

  • gilt-gesso, wood, mirror glass
  • 92cm. high, 51cm. deep; 3ft., 1ft. 8in.
with a reeded moulded cornice above a verre églomisé panel depicting a ruined castle, the rectangular plate flanked by fluted columns

Condition

Gilding attractively worn throughout. Plate apparently original but marked and with some losses to silvering.
