the top with incised line decoration to simulate banding, the table incorporates earlier carved elements visible to the underside

Condition

An atmospheric country piece. This well used table exhibits much evidence of its age and function. The top with splits, markings and warping (there are later support battons to the uderside). One hinge, fragementing with repaired break. Signs of worm to stretchers, with one short stretcher subsequently replaced.
