Condition
The canvas has an old relining. Ultraviolet light reveals only a few minor signs of retouching, notably a stroke in the grass to the lower right of the signature, and a couple of tiny spots in the upper-left corner. Some of the pigments in the sky also fluoresce lightly, however these don't appear to correspond to retouching and would certainly appear to be the artist's originals. This painting is in good condition, and clean, fresh and ready to hang.
Presented in a decorative gilt frame, with a nameplate, and a cloth-covered inner liner.
