- Walnut
with leaf and scroll-carved top-rail, curved backs and stuffed seats, on bell-flower carved cabriole legs terminating in hoof-feet, joined by moulded H-stretchers
Condition
Overall with marks and scratches, particularly to the hoof feet and back legs, consistent with age and use. One of the chairs has an age crack to the top rail and a repaired break to the stretcher.
