Description

  • 30cm., 11 7/8 in. diameter
octafoil, bordered with a rim of godroons and another of acanthus, engraved 'Ter GedagtenisFevan Gerard Christoffel Schaghen geboren tot Batavia den 30 Maarten aldaaroverleden den 8 July Ao 1740.'

Condition

Very crisp engraving, some tiny holes to embossed rims, traces of matted decoration at centre.
