- approximately 420 by 386cm; 13ft. 9in., 12ft. 8in.
Condition
Typical of Aubusson, the brown wool has oxidised and worn, so there are several generations of restoration in the browns of the field and the border and these are visible as areas of colour variation. The central medallion is in sound condition. There are repaired fireplace cuts near the centre of one long border edge, 130cm. apart and 14cm. deep.
