Description

  • Gilt, giltwood
with foliate, scrolled and rocaille carved frames, scrolled arms and acanthus, moulded aprons and legs ending in acanthus and cabouchon carved feet, each stamped 'I*GOVRDIN'; re-gilt, re-gessoed and re-blocked

Condition

Of a pleasing large size and with losses to later gesso. Cracks and splits to some components and localised areas of gesso. With re-gilding and re-touching to parts. The upholstery is generally good although would benefit from a deep clean.
