formerly cabinet stands, each painted to simulate inlaid marbles, the later tops with a large lozenge and with moulded silver borders, above a frieze with conforming decoration centred by an arch and supported by two sets of four square tapered legs united by X-frame stretchers surmounted by finials and on turned feet.

Condition

These decoartive tables have an unusual painted surface. Each with later ply inset tops set into stands which are possibly 18th century. The later simulated marble effect shows signs of wear and tear from use. There are scratches, chips and marks throughout. The silvered border around the top shows signs of age in the form of cracks, separations and there losses to painted decoration and loaclised evidence of filller. Both with evidence of worm. The backs of some legs with downward 'shaved' corners.
