Condition
The canvas has been relined. There is a repaired tear, inverted L-shaped, measuring 2 by 7 cm lower left part of the canvas. Inspection under UV light reveals scattered dot retouchings on the figure, and specks of repainting in the foliage, in the lower branches and tree trunks. There is infilling of craquelure. Old retouchings in the upper right and lower left corners.
This lot is offered in a fake lacquer frame, of which part of the fluting has broken off.
