- bronze, on a Sienese marble socle and possibly associated Sienese marble column with gilt metal mounts

Condition
Overall the condition of the bronze is good with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. The bronze is cast in sections and some joints are visible, including to beneath the figures' feet and drapery and to beneath the seated child. There is some rubbing to the patina at the highpoints. There are some chips and scratches to the marble, particularly at the edges. There is veining to the marble consistent with the material. There are two small filled sections to the top of the marble column. There are some splashes of paint and dirt to the marble and metal. There is a mount hole to the top of the column.
