Condition

This elegant sideboard shows a nice warm colour and has been conserved. It retains its original gilt brass curtain rail (regilt); brass handles are probably replaced. The top has been re-fitted and has small repairs to veneers and marks and scratches consistent with use and age. It has a small shrinking crack and the back is slightly bent. The front central section has a repair (replaced veneer section) and a small loss to moulding; the right hand door has a wide shrinking crack.
