in moulded and painted foam latex, on a wooden socle

Condition

The foam core had deterioated and this may well require some consolidation as there is fragmentation particularly to the base. This piece is great fun and a survivor from an important British satriical televsion show

Catalogue Note

This puppet took pride of place in Michael Winner's cinema room, alongside a puppet of his dear friend Sir John Gielgud. A badge of honour, Michael was lampooned by the seminal British satirical puppet show which aired on the ITV from 1984 to 1996.
