The canvas is not lined. Close examination reveals some light frame abrasion and a little hairline craquelure on the woman's back. Under UV light, a thin 10cm line of retouching fluoresces on her right shoulder, along with a 5cm patch under her left arm and larger patches on her lower back. Apart from some further spots of retouching in the upper left corner and a very thin horizontal line above the signature, this work remains in good condition.
