Condition

Bon état général. Petit manque d'émail le long d'une anse d'environ 1 cm de large. La pièce émaillée également au revers avec des manques importants d'email sur le pourtour de la base, non visibles quand l'objet est posé. Overall in very good condition. The exterior with occasional scattered glazed and surface imperfections, firing lines and 2 vertical mold lines, all inherent in the making. The outer perimeter of the foot on the underbase with some surface irregularities where the glaze has been left on the foot of the kiln, inherent in the making. The vase with a very slight lean, presumably as a result of the slightly irregular underbase. With two very small surface flecks located on the outermost extremities of two of the handles, ¼ and 1/8 inch in diameter. An exceedingly rare example of the artist’s work in stoneware.
