Description

of rectangular section supported on four small flared corner feet, the cover finely carved in low relief with a central blossom surrounded by four ruyi heads and four projecting ruyi at the corners above the slanted sides, the box similarly decorated with ruyi heads interlinked by archaistic scrolls, the smoothly polished stone of even white colour with a faint icy mottling, wood stand

Condition

The jade box is in overall very good condition. The carving is delicate, the cover and the box are carefully worked to tightly fit together.
