Description
the amber of deep reddish-brown colour, deftly carved in openwork and hollowed out in the form of a prunus tree, the natural golden brown inclusions in the amber skilfully utilised in a cameo design to render gnarled twigs entwining around a large rock and issuing clusters of blossoms, wood stand
Condition
The vase is in overall good condition. There must have been a cover which is now missing.
