of rectangular section, the angled sides rising from a slightly splayed recessed foot to angular shoulders and a straight neck, the neck flanked by a pair of handles decorated with ruyi motifs, the neck decorated with a lappet of pendant cicada leaves, the four trapezoidal sides of the body with a stylised taotie mask, all between a key-fret band encircling the foot and square-lipped rim, the bronze patinated to a rich brown colour, wood stand
