Description

well potted with wide flaring sides rising at an angle from a slightly splayed foot, finely moulded on the interior with intricate foliate scrolls, surrounded on the interior walls by lotus blossoms borne on a continuous stem enclosing the two characters 'Shu' and 'Fu', the exterior encircled by a single rib and a slightly raised flange around the base, covered overall in a pale sky-blue glaze, save for footring and underside left unglazed revealing the white biscuit

Condition

The footed bowl is in overall good condition. There is some expected wear to the surface glaze on the interior and a pin-prick air bubble on the exterior.
