Description
deftly carved with barbed sides divided into five bracket foliations, supported on a foot of corresponding section encircling a recessed circular panel, the wood patinated to a deep brown town
Condition
There are a few age crackles (the longest 6 and 4.5 cm.) extending from the base up the side. A couple of age crackles extending from the mouth rim, the longest approx. 6 cm on the interior. There are a few expects minor dents and occasional nicks on the side and around the rim but overall the brushpot is in good condition. A side section of the floor at the bottom on the interior has chipped off from the upper surface, but the base remains intact otherwise on the underside. The actual colour is consistent with the catalogue illustration.
