deftly carved in openwork with a crouching frog nestled within a furled lotus pad, further encircled by an attendant bud, a spray of millet and a secondary pad coating the underside, all naturalistically detailed with veins and highlighted with russet skin around the edges and on the underside, inscribed with a two-character apocryphal seal mark Zigang within a rounded square panel in front of the frog and another round seal yuwan on the reverse, wood stand
