Description

with deep rounded sides supported on a short tapered foot, vividly painted around the exterior with a continuous garden scene of peonies and bamboo sprays growing on jagged rocks, the reverse with two hovering butterflies, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a four-character mark

Condition

There are minor firing imperfections to the interior of both, including pin-prick air bubbles and minute iron spots, there is a minute burst bubble to the rim of one, but overall the bowls are in good condition.
