each with three five-clawed dragons striding above waves chasing a gold 'flaming pearl', the interior with a dragon holding a pearl, the base with a four-character iron-red mark

Condition

The twenty bowls are all in overall good condition. Some have occasional pinholes, tiny specks in the glaze, or minor original nicks to the footrim, but alltogether the set has been remarkably well preserved. There is a minute iron spot more noticeable to the exterior of one. The actual colour is less yellow compared to the catalogue illustration.
