Description

the compressed globular body raised on three conical feet, below a waisted neck and everted rim, modelled on the sides with three prominent ribs extending on the foot and applied overall with a pale sea-green glaze suffused with crackles

Condition

The censer is in good condition. There are a few expected minor imperfections in the glaze and light fritting around the mouth rim. The actual colour is of a warmer celadon tone, less yellow when compared to the photograph in the catalogue.
