- Porcelain
the brushrest modelled with three prongs flanked by two wells, covered with a lustrous persimmon-coloured glazed, the miniature bottle vase applied with a toffee-brown glaze
Provenance
The brushrest: acquired in Hong Kong, 20th July 1984.
Condition
The brushrest is in good condition. There are some expected original potting imperfections or gaps in the glaze of the brushrest, consistent with the type. The bottle vase is also in good condition. There are two small original gaps in the glaze under the rim and further occasional typical pinholes or gaps in the glaze on the body and the base. The actual colours are consistent with the catalogue illustration.
