carved in openwork in the form of two conjoined fish feeding on a cluster of pondweed, one with a split tail, the other with lobed rounded fins, all finely detailed with incisions, the translucent stone of even white colour, wood stand
Condition
The group carving is in overall good condition. There are a couple of very minor nibbles to some fins' edges. The actual colour is less grey and more light celadon compared to the catalogue illustration.
