carved with the four characters jixiang ruyi on the arched shaft and double happiness xi surrounded by four bats on the lingzhi-shaped head, the terminal carved with a bat and pierced to thread a pale green tassel, the stone of pale celadon colour with two patches of dark brown on the side of the ruyi head, wood stand
Condition
The ruyi and stand are in good overall condition. There is some very minute nibbling along the edge of the bottom terminal. The actual colour is somewhat less yellow, more light grey-celadon compared to the catalogue illustration. The colour of the silk tassel has somewhat faded as visible on the catalogue photo. The wood stand is in good condition.
