depicting two fruits attached to a gnarled stalk further wrapped in leaves, a bat with outstretched wings perched on the larger peach, the translucent stone picked out with russet skin and light calcified patches, wood stand
Condition
There is some mild pitting with traces of calcification to the reverse of the carving and to the stem on the underside. There are a couple of small nicks to the edge of the larger furled leaf and further occasional nibbles around the edges. Overall the carvings remains in good condition. The actual colour is more white-celadon, less yellow compared to the catalogue photo.
